Kyoshi Amber Travsky is head instructor for the Laramie Kempo Karate Club, which she started in 1985. She began her martial arts training in 1973 in Tae Kwon Do before moving to Laramie and studying under Shihan Stephen Blackburn beginning in 1978. Master Travsky has earned the following ranks:
Kyoshi Travsky has earned Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology and Wildlife Biology. She is former Chairperson for the Wyoming Governor's Council for Physical Fitness and Sport. She is a former member, via Presidential appointment, to the President's Council for Physical Fitness and Sport.

Master Rich Travsky began his training in the Okinawa Te style in the late 1980s. He has assisted with the Laramie Kempo Karate Club since it began in 1985. He has attained the following ranks:
Sensei Shawn Palmer has been with the Laramie Kempo Karate Club for 10 years. He also spent 2 1/2 years studying Aikido, 4 years studying Xing Yi Chuan, one and half years studying Tai Chi, and he has a smattering of exposure to Kali, other forms of karate, Kung Fu and Thai Kick Boxing.

Outside the dojo, Shawn practices naturopathic medicine in Laramie along with acupuncture, homeopathy, and allergy desensitization. He has a column in the local newspaper where he highlights natural medicine and he has an on-line talk show where he covers different topics in natural medicine. Shawn enjoys joy mountain biking and skiing in his free time.
Ross Tolman started his Kempo training with Shihan Amber Travsky as a student in the UW campus class in 2002 and joined the Laramie Kempo Karate Club shortly afterwards. Ross holds the following rank:
Ross has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Wyoming and is currently working as a programmer for the University of Wyoming. Ross enjoys origami, poetry/writing, and flying airplanes.
Tiffany Young started her martial arts training with the Laramie Kempo Karate Club in 1996 . She recently began training in Kung Fu with her dad, Calvin Young. Tiffany is currently attending the University of Wyoming, majoring in dance and finance. She has performed in a number of shows at the university including A Chorus Line, A Midsummer's Night Dream, and Awaken/Shift. Tiffany has earned the following rank:
